With October starting, Sony has announced their free PS Plus games for the month. As Halloween will be taking part later this month, Sony has thrown in Friday the 13th to kick things off, alongside a number of other titles.
As mentioned before, Friday the 13th is easily the highlight of this month's free PS4 games. In Friday the 13th, one player gets to play as Jason Voorhees, while up to six other players must play as teen counselors.
The counselors must attempt to escape their location, while Jason gets to use a variety of tools and abilities to track them down.
The counselor players must communicate and work together to prepare a plan to escape. Playing as the counselors gives you a sense of panic and tension, while playing Voorhees is just as exciting, but for completely different reasons.
After that, we have Laser League. This is a fun multiplayer game that tests your reflexes and critical thinking. Laser League is very easy to pick up, but it takes lots

A brand new system update for the PlayStation 4 has been released. PS4 owners can download and install the new 5.0 system update now.
While moving to 5.0 sounds like quite a big jump, there aren't any significant changes in this latest system update. Unlike previous big OS updates for the PS4, the 5.0 system update puts a focus on backend fixes.
The visual changes are very minor, but we'll discuss what has changed below.
The biggest feature of the PS4 5.0 system update is the support for Twitch streaming up to 1080p resolution for those with a PS4 Pro. If you own a PS4 Pro, you'll be able to stream your game directly to Twitch at 60 frames per second and in 1080p resolution. You are now able to follow users in PS4's What's New feed. Previously, it was only possible to follow verified users from this feed.
A couple of changes have also been made to the notifications system on the PS4 5.0 system update. Starting in 5.0, PS4 owners can now prevent notification pop-ups

The first raid for Destiny 2 has finally gone live and we've got some unique details to share about it.
Bungie's game director, Luke Smith, has revealed that the first raid will require a power level between 260 and 280. For those that haven't had a chance to play much Destiny 2 yet, you've got some catching up to do before the raid will be accessible to you.
Raids have always been the most challenging aspect of the Destiny game world, so it makes sense that a minimum power level cap has been set to make sure inexperienced players don't accidentally walk into a world filled with pain.
The first raid for Destiny 2 is called Leviathan. So far, we're not sure how the raid will work, or what enemies it will consist of. We do know, however, that players that do not yet have a team of friends to join them can now use matchmaking to find existing teams to play alongside.
Leviathan originally launched on September 13 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. We're expecting to see more

A brand new patch has been pushed out for Horizon Zero Dawn on the PlayStation 4. Patch 1.10 should now be live. The new patch fixes a number of major bugs and gameplay progression issues. A few quality of life features have been added in the latest patch as well.
In the new patch, players will be able to buy multiple items at once from merchants by holding the X button on their control. The X-axis controls can also now be inverted via the in-game settings menu.
Some small changes have been made to the way items drop in Horizon Zero Dawn. The costs of items have been adjusted to reflect this game as well. These small changes all add up to make an overall tweak to the in-game item economy.
Some adjustments have been made to humanoid AI within Horizon Zero AI, although we're not yet sure what exactly has changed here.
If you've had any issues with progressing through the Horizon Zero Dawn campaign, you'll be relieved to hear that many progression issues have now

A brand new Resident Evil 7 DLC pack is now available on the PlayStation 4.
After the launch on January 24, Resident Evil 7 has already received its second DLC expansion. This new expansion has been named Banned Footage Vol. 2 and it follows the first Banned Footage volume. The new DLC includes 2 missions and a new 'comical' game mode.
The first new mission in the new Resident Evil 7 DLC is called 21 Scenario, which Capcom has provided a small description for. "Gamble life and limb in a deadly game run by Lucas Baker."
The second mission in the new DLC is called Daughters Scenario and this serves as a prequel to the storyline in the missions in the base game.
The new game mode that's been bundled with the DLC expansion is named Jack's 55th Birthday, in which players are tasked with feeding Jack Baker, the main villain in Resident Evil 7, with large amounts of food. It sounds odd, but it's surprisingly enjoyable and equally as hilarious.
Currently, the

In this article, we'll be listing some of the best PS4 arcade sticks available. If you're willing to take your game to the next level, chances are one of these arcade sticks will be able to help whether you play Street Fighter V, Mortal Kombat or any other fighting game.
HORI Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai
For just under $144, this PS4 arcade stick is conservative on the physical design, but it goes all out on features and performance. The stick on this pad is super slick, making it easy to execute moves. If you're a novice or a veteran in the esports world, the stick on the Arcade Pro 4 Kai will work wonders for you.
Our only complaint is that if you've got extra large hands, you may find that the layout leaves you limited on space.
Mad Catz Street Fighter V FightStick TE2+
Mad Catz has been in the game for decades now, so it's no surprise that their FightStick TE2+ is a great piece of kit. This arcade stick comes in at $229 -

A new open beta has been planned for For Honor, so if you're interested check out the details in this article.
Ubisoft has confirmed that the dates for the open beta will be from February 9 to February 12. During these dates, the beta will be playable. The upcoming open beta will include the game modes from the previous beta, as well as a few new inclusions.
Making a debut will be the Elimination mode - in this mode, players will be placed on two teams of four. The objective is simple - eliminate the players on the other team. Once a player dies, they'll have to sit out until the next round. The Elimination mode features a best of five format, so the first team to three rounds wins the match.
Making a return to the upcoming For Honor open beta will be the Brawl, Duel, and Dominion modes, as well as 9 out of the 12 total playable heroes. The War of the Factions persistent game mode will also be returning in the February For Honor beta.
For Honor will get a full

Bethesda has finally spilled the beans on the Dishonored storyline and we've got plenty of juicy details to share with you about the upcoming game.
First off, let's start with some of the story details we now have. It's been confirmed that Dishonored 2 takes place roughly 15 years after the original game. The Lord Regent may have been taken care of, but the throne has now been taken by an otherworldly creature.
Players must travel through the streets to restore the throne to its rightful owner, Emily Kaldwin. You'll obviously be equipped with all sorts of supernatural abilities, which will certainly make completing your missions far easier.
Now for some details on the actual gameplay. This time, players will have the choice between playing as Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano. It seems, though, that either way players will have the same storyline to follow for the most part. The gameplay experience for both characters will differ, massively. Both characters have their own

New details about the single player portion of Battlefield 1 have been released by DICE.
In the new trailer and promo content on the Battlefield website, it has been revealed that the singleplayer in Battlefield 1 will have a number of separate 'War Stories.'
Each of the War Stories will have their own story, their own objectives and their own objectives with unique abilities. Each story will offer a different depiction of World War 1 and will put focus on a number of different characters.
This means that instead of one single campaign and one protagonist, the Battlefield 1 main storyline will have multiple stories and characters. It's likely that each individual mission will be a 'War Story' and players will get the chance to experience all sorts of different gameplay that Battlefield 1 has to offer.
For example, in one War Story, players will be playing as the right-hand man of Lawrence of Arabia. The objective will be to locate an armored train, find the supplies

A Major PlayStation 4 system update has just launched and should be rolling out to all regions that support the PS4 as we speak. The new PS4 update brings a number of changes to the user interface that many PlayStation owners will be happy to find out about.
Firstly, a more refined experience has been added to the main UI with thanks to new system backgrounds, updated system icons and revised pop up notifications and drop down menus to make it easier to navigate through everything.
Another great change is the adjustments made to the Quick Menu. The new Quick Menu will now no longer take up the entirety of the screen, which means you can still pay attention to what's happening in your game or on your PS4 system and still access the Quick Menu at the same time.
The Quick Menu also has an improved music player app - you can now quickly skip songs and change music via the USB music player or Spotify app. Sony has also attempted to make it so that the Quick Menu options
